Sherri Crichton created CRICHTONSUN LLC in 2014 as the vehicle through which to preserve and celebrate Michael's work and to introduce him to future generations.
When Michael passed away in 2008, he left behind one of the most extensive archives of any writer this century. He had a photographic memory and recorded everything he was exposed to. He was constantly researching, clipping articles and taking notes- all saved in thousands of folders, filling rooms, filing cabinets and over a million files in digital format. Since 2014, Sherri and her team have been organizing the extensive archives he left behind, which included book manuscripts, screenplays and thousands of pages of detailed notes on the topics most important to him such as human behavior, morality, modern medicine, technology and scientific breakthroughs.
